I rarely watch tv but this summer I’ve been watching past seasons of shows that people had recommended to me.  It’s a nice distraction while I’m painting or working on my designs.
The strange (creepy?) common factor is that they all have death as a basis for the show.  What does that say about me? or how about the friends that made these recommendations?  oh well…I’m enjoying them!

cute cute cute

The best thing about the Republican speech tonight was the youngest daughter full on licking her entire hand to smooth down her brother’s hair. Awesome.

Recently the mayor of Boston, Thomas Menino, made a major step forward for urban transportation by proposing that all off the city’s taxis be replaced with hybrids by 2015! The progressive measure will significantly cut the city’s carbon emissions, and officials expect that within two years, 50% of the city’s 5,500 cabs will have been replaced.  Boston’s bold initiative situates it alongside San Francisco and New York, which have established similar efforts to green their taxi fleet by 2012.

[ beat control….tilly and the wall ]

This song came on my ipod last night while I was running.  It’s a bit different than older Tilly and the Wall stuff but I’m definitely into it! This is a good drive with your windows down at night kind of song.
